The Wilkes University Conservatory is a division of the Department of Visual and Performing Arts at Wilkes University. It provides a unique opportunity for artistic growth with a faculty of twenty-five highly regarded instructors who also maintain active careers as performers, composers, musicians, and visual artists. Students of all ages are offered private instruction in band and orchestral instruments as well as piano, organ, voice and guitar. The Conservatory has an extensive Early Childhood Education program in music and theatre, offers dance, music theory, and art classes, as well as opera and theatre workshops, master classes, and student and faculty recitals. The facility houses studios and classrooms, as well as an extensive music library, a student recital hall, and a Center for Performing Arts with a seating capacity of 500.
