A non-profit community music school, the Music Academy operates under an open enrollment policy and teaches approximately 250 students per year ranging from pre-schoolers through adults with a faculty of 15. The core of the Academy’s curriculum is private instruction in piano, flute, traditional and Suzuki violin, guitar, clarinet, trumpet, recorder and voice. Classes in music theory are regularly offered, as well as a community children’s choir and an adult choir. Workshops and master classes are offered in collaboration with other organizations as well as several special concert events per year which are free and open to the public.
