The mission of the Carnegie Arts Center is to provide quality fine arts instruction, exhibition and performance opportunities, while offering professionals in the arts fields a facility in which to teach, exhibit, perform and share their talents and understanding of the arts. Some programs are supported in part by the Kansas Arts Commission, a state agency, and the National Endowment for the Arts, a federal agency.
