Personal Statement
Dan Crosby has been playing guitar for fifteen years. An early interest in American roots music was complimented by several years of study with Paul Asbell, a highly esteemed expatriot of Chicago’s South Side, who has recorded and performed with Muddy Waters, John Lee Hooker, Earl Hooker, and Magic Sam. Trey Anastasio is Paul’s most celebrated past student.
In 2007, Dan graduated from Berklee College of Music after earning a scholarship from the Summer Guitar Sessions in 2002. More recently Dan has found himself playing in theater productions nationally and a member of Brooklyn based Crinkles.
