Personal Statement
As a music teacher I believe that success comes through enjoyment and personal connectivity to the music one is making. I strive to challenge my students link their intellect with their creativity in order to develop well rounded musicianship. I have a strong musical and academic background and use my experiences to help my students to nurture their talents and discover a unique relationship with their instrument.
I am currently pursuing a Masters of Music degree in Manhattan School of Music’s prestigious Orchestral Performance Program under the tutelage of the acting principal clarinet of the New York Philarmonic, Mark Nuccio. I have a Bachelor’s degree cum Laude from Northwestern University in Evanston, IL where I was a student of Steve Cohen and taught privately.
I would love to get a chance to work with you, so feel free to leave me a message. Also, for more information, please visit www.kyleyecke.com.
