Personal Statement

I have over 30 years of experience teaching privately and also periodically teaching for Sarah Lawrence College, Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp, the Calhoun School, Mannes College of Music Prep Division, Kinhaven Music School and other institutions. I have extensive performance experience, performing with the Virtuosi Quintet, Westfield Symphony (NJ), NY Gilbert & Sullivan Players, St. Cecilia Orchestra, Broadway musicals and various prestigious orchestras such as the Metropolitan Opera Orchestra, Opera Orchestra of New York, Alvin Ailey Dance Co., St. Luke’s Chamber Ensemble, Colorado Music Festival, Twentieth Century Unlimited (Santa Fe, NM) and orchestras abroad (Italy and Switzerland). I have an international reputation as a bassoonist, having performed in Asia, Europe and South America. Records for Crystal Records, Capstone Records, Musical Heritage Society.
