Founded in 1968, the East Bay Center provides long term sequential arts education to nearly 3,000 children and teens–primarily low-income, multi-ethnic youth from our local community. The East Bay Center has been a pioneer in the field of “comparative study, ” which explores the language, vocabulary and methods by which effective cross-cultural exchange can happen. Our students range in age from 5 to 80.
