Personal Statement

I believe in imagination, creativity, and individualized instruction. I am here to help you achieve your own personal goals as a musician, artist, and/or student, while also having fun in the process! I am a very open minded and patient teacher who is willing to adapt my approach to better suit your needs. Whether you are a serious, career-minded musician, just looking to improve, or a complete beginner, I am interested in giving you the tools to be your own teacher in the promotion of life-long learning.

I will also travel to your location if needed!

Education / Training

-Bachelor's & Master's Degree from the Eastman School of Music

-Studied with Walt Weiskopf, Ramon Ricker, David Demsey, Chris Azzara, Fred Sturm, Dave Rivello, and Chienkwan Lin

-Have played with: The Temptations, Wycliffe Gordon, Mike Gordon (from Phish), Al Chez ( from the Tonight Show Band), Les McCann, DIVA Jazz Orchestra, Harold Jones (from the Count Basie Orchestra)

-I am a Lincoln Center Institute trained Teaching Artist
