General
This Suzuki-oriented
school is designed to provide a comprehensive musical education in violin, cello, and piano for children from age three. Throughout the children’s study, the School’s deep commitment to ensemble playing is expressed: first through group-playing classes, and later through participation in the School’s orchestras and chamber music groups. At the heart of the School lies its two-year Teacher-Training Program where professional violinists, cellists, and pianists receive training in the Suzuki approach and techniques, and do supervised practice teaching in the School’s community service division. The School also offers an Early Childhood Program to children ages 16 months to 4 years.
