Founded by Felix Molzer, the Monmouth Conservatory of Music serves students of all ages. The MCM gathers the best teaching talent in the area to provide instruction in instrumental, vocal and theoretical subjects. Its mission is to provide a complete and thorough music education that leads students to musical understanding backed by technical competency, and promotes their personal and cultural growth. MCM introduces students to the mainstream of musical literature and significant styles and forms, past and present, through lectures, concerts and other special programs. In addition to instruction in all instruments, MCM offers great performance opportunities: monthly student recitals, youth and adult choruses, a student strings orchestra and chamber groups. Scholarships are available as funding allows.
