The North Valley Music School is the first non-profit music school in Montana and offers private lessons in piano, violin, cello, viola, guitar, voice, flute, recorder and banjo as well as Music Together and chamber orchestra. Suzuki instruction is available in violin and piano. Private lessons, group classes, workshops, a fiddle group and summer camps are offered in NVMS’s historical building in downtown Whitefish. The school has a faculty of ten and serves approximately 300 students ranging from infants to retirees. The school is an active participant in the community with student and faculty performances.
