The Southeast Missouri Music Academy is a non-profit organization operating under the auspices of the Southeast Missouri State University Department of Music. Founded in 1985, the Music Academy is dedicated to enriching the lives of our students by stimulating a lifelong appreciation of music. Its highly qualified faculty offers musical instruction to students of all ages, abilities, and backgrounds, and guides the development of basic musical and performing skills, while encouraging the creative use of those skills. The Academy has an enrollment of over 200 students.
