Indian Hill Music is a non-profit regional center for music education and performance founded in 1985 and located in Littleton, Massachusetts. Our mission is to benefit individuals, families and communities through music. Indian Hill Music School provides private and group lessons, ensembles and workshops to people of all ages and abilities. The school serves more than 1,500 students annually with a faculty of over 75 professional artist/educators, and awards more than $35,000 in need-based scholarships to students in its service area each year. Indian Hill Music’s professional Performance Series features classical and pops concerts by The Orchestra of Indian Hill – Greater Boston’s premiere professional orchestra led by Music Director Bruce Hangen – as well as chamber music, jazz, musical theater and family events presented in Littleton and Groton. Indian Hill’s Community Outreach Program partners with surrounding communities to provide educational music experiences in public and private schools, elder housing facilities, hospitals and other organizations. The Music School is currently engaged in a grant funded project bringing music and movement into public school classrooms to teach core curriculum concepts. The programs of Indian Hill Music are supported, in part, by the Massachusetts Cultural Council, a state agency.
