The mission of South Shore Conservatory is to provide community access to quality education in the arts. The Conservatory offers private and class instruction to more than 2,500 students on all instruments plus voice in classical, jazz, rock and world genres. In addition musicianship and theory, a certificate program for motivated young musicians, chamber music, jazz combos and the Bay Youth Symphony are some of the additional educational opportunities for youth and adults. The Conservatory boasts a state of the art recording studio and offers courses in music technology and provides students and faculty with a resource to create professional quality recordings. With a strong focus on early childhood education a few of the many programs offered are arts based pre-school and Kindergarten, Music Together, Suzuki training, Orff and recorder classes, and creative movement.
