Northampton Community Music Center (NCMC) was founded in 1986. Its mission is to foster the love and pursuit of music within the greater community through quality musical education, performances and activities that are accessible to all. NCMC offers private instruction, instrumental and vocal ensembles, jazz programs, advanced chamber workshops, Music for the Young Child, theory and composition classes, children’s and adult choruses, music therapy, summer music camps, and public performances. NCMC has a gifted faculty of 45, a student population of 650, ages infant-adult, and an extensive outreach program. Scholarship assistance is available to all who qualify.
