Northwestern’s School of Music has offered music instruction to community students since before 1930. Today the Music Academy offers classes in Kindermusik and Pre-Piano for young children, private and group lessons in piano and strings, and special adult piano and voice classes. Its goal is to encourage critical and creative thinking in a curriculum that emphasizes both musicianship and performance skills.
