Personal Statement
My objective as a music teacher is to direct the efforts of a student towards what they are truly looking to achieve. I do my best to steer a student away from empty information gathering and side tangents while focusing their study on the most essential skills and abilities for their musical goals.
Technique and theory are both heavily emphasized in lessons and I work with my students to get them a knowledge of both what they are playing and why they are playing it. The end goal of my teaching is always to make myself obsolete as students learn to teach themselves and reach goals through their own musical drive.
All styles [except specific ethnic musics like Flamenco or Indian raga] are available on both acoustic and electric guitar.
Let me know what your needs are and I will show you how to fulfill them quickly and easily.
