The CMS Suzuki program, in existence since 1971, is nationally recognized for its high quality of teaching. The program offers lessons in violin, viola, cello, harp, flute and piano for students three years old through adults. The faculty is composed of professional musicians who are highly trained Suzuki teachers and active members in the Suzuki Association of the Americas. Each child enrolled in the program receives an individual lesson each week. In addition, group lessons reinforce performance, rhythm training, music theory, music history, chamber music, and note-reading skills. Children participate in solo recitals, group concerts, and graduation ceremonies.
