Personal Statement
I am a conservatory trained non-conservatory style teacher who believes in supporting the student’s individual goals for musical self-expression on and off the page. I use traditional and non-traditional methods of demonstrating concepts while presenting all the basics necessary to be able to explore beyond the lesson. I am a trained performer and educator with many years experience teaching privately. And I continually study new methods to benefit my students.
Music is meant for enjoyment and the discovery process should be just as enjoyable.
