Personal Statement

I have a Bachelor of Arts in Music from Western CT State University and 20 years teaching full time. Well schooled in both the Classical and Jazz styles. A vast knowledge of music from folk to metal and world music to electronic music. In addition to my instrumental knowledge I have a pro level knowledge of music technology and audio including synthesis, sampling, virtual studio technology and effects etc….
You would be hard pressed to find a more creative individual to learn from. I am extremely versatile across all genres as well. I have top notch communication skills and am very personable with students of all ages and from all walks of life.
Aside from “regular” techniques, I am well versed in a huge number of modern, cutting edge techniques. This includes : slapping, tapping, glitched, prepared instruments, highly processed and synthesized sounds.

Education / Training

I have a Bachelor of Arts in Music from Western CT State University where I studied guitar, bass and piano in the Classical, Jazz, and World Music modalities.

I have taken private lessons for most of my life with some of the finest instructors in the northeast including : Chris Morrison, Jamie Begian, Pat Russo, Ron Stebbins, Don Fortin and many others.

I am super creative and well versed in a vast amount of musical genres as well as being a superb communicator.
