Personal Statement

The “Farmhouse Studio” has openings for voice and piano students.

A focus on healthy performance and practice habits is emphasized, as well as building strong personal character.

Best of all, its FUN!

Why? Each students abilities are developed individually. The student is celebrated for who they are and where they are at musically. Laughter and a love of musical expression are some of the key elements of instruction.

No cookie cutter approaches here.

Vocal students will be allowed to explore their talents through many genres, including classical, Broadway, jazz, and pop. Vocal health and student wellness are emphasized.

Piano students are accepted depending on reading and attention readiness. All the best techniques are addressed in lessons, while keeping it lighthearted.

The studio also is open to professionals looking to hone their skills, college students seeking instruction for proficiencies, and instrumentalists/vocalists who need an accompanist-coach.

Sonja Graham has worked with over 1,472 student musicians in her career. She has performed opening shows for Marie Osmond, Kathy Mattea, Ricky Skaggs, among others. Her element is music, whether on stage, in theater, or in the studio. Her joy is watching students grow musically.
