Personal Statement

Not your grandmother’s piano teacher. Lessons emphasize fun and creativity, not dull repetition. Learn to play by ear, harmonize songs, improvise, and read music. I teach classical, pop, and jazz styles. I specialize in adult beginners and adults returning to the piano after an absence.

Highly accomplished pianist and teacher. Conservaotry graduate. Formerly pianist with La Mama Experimental Theatre (New York); toured Europe playing an improvised score. Former Music Director and Composer for Riverside Shakespeare Company (New York); composed scores for six productions. Recent solo recitals at Seattle Art Museum and others.
