Personal Statement

Greetings! In my many years of teaching on all levels ranging from kindergarten to adults, my main forte is reaching students at their level of understanding. I gear my lessons towards enjoyment, quick learning, eclectic genres of music, and performance.

My students love me as a teacher! I am patient, funny, and motivating. I take the best of all my many years of learning; different skills and types of music; and create a potpourri of easy to follow exercises and daily/weekly practice. I instill professionalism and self-confidence in my students no matter what their performance level, instrument,or the genre of music they are performing.

I guide my students in utilizing their practice time efficiently without wasting energy on repetitive, boring teaching methods.

I will help you to achieve the best result you can in the shortest period of time.

I am also flexible and negotiable about length of sessions(though I rarely go under an hour);frequency of lessons;(though I prefer teaching at least once a week); and FEES.

I offer special deals for families with more than one child or for learning more than one instrument. I offer discounts if you pay a month in advance.
