Personal Statement
I have been playing the piano since age 6, and have taught piano since 1993. I am a Nationally Certified Teacher of Music and past president of my local Music Teachers Association. I teach about 30 students a week in a beautiful home-based studio which is conveniently located off of Route 611, Route 63, or Davisville Road. I teach on a Mason & Hamlin upright, Steinway grand, or Roland Digital.
I teach a combination of unique, non-traditional playing-based lessons, as well as a classical approach. I believe that everyone is musical, and that everyone can learn to play the piano. I can begin students as early as age 4 and also have many adult students, most of whom started as total beginners.
