Personal Statement
NIcole Peragine believes all people have the ability and should have the opportunity to make great music. Music enable us to be more complete human beings. It isn’t about having a perfect performance but continually challenging yourself to grow as a musician and a person. Her students walk away from lessons with a deeper understanding of technique and how it helps us to achieve musical goals, a deeper understanding of music as a whole, perseverance, improved work ethic, and organizational skills. The skills students learn ultimately help them with their lives beyond music – the goal is always to be a better person in addition to a better musician.
