Anne Decker-Beck graduated 1984 Bachelor of Music from Baldwin-Wallace Conservatory of Music. She studied with William Hebert of the Cleveland Orchestra, Ervin Monroe of the Detroit Symphony Orchestra, Adrian Brett of the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, London and Trevor Wye. Her pedagogy mentor is Arvi Sinka, Ph.D. of Sinka Piano Studios, Troy, MI. Ms. Decker-Beck has been teaching private music lessons in since 1986. She is the Associate Director of Childrens Choirs, St. John Vianney Parish, Shelby Township, MI. She is the Michigan Music Teachers Association Chair of Woodwind Student Achievement Testing and is an affiliated Music Teachers National Association private music instructor. Decker Music Studio is a private music school in Downtown Romeo. Our mission is to foster a lifelong exploration of music in each student. Our teachers encourage a supportive and challenging environment that empowers children and adults to reach their artistic and personal potential through one-to-one lessons. Our studio hosts quarterly recitals, charitable community fundraising concerts, and participates with the Historic Village of Romeo annual events throughout the year.
