Greetings all. My Name is Matthew Weinman and I am a 30 year Veteran of the Renaissance Lute, Vihuela, and Theorbo, Specializing in Music of The Renaissance and Baroque. I am a Graduate of Manness College of Music B.M. and Columbia University M.A. with N.J. State Teaching Certification.
Renaissance Lute: all levels welcome.
Music Theory: Harmony & Voice Leading, Species Counterpoint, Figured bass, chord chart reading, Harmonic Analysis, composition, improvisation. Ear Training: Solfege, interval and chord identification, dictation. Exceptionally patient, highly energetic, lessons upbeat and full of humor and encouragement.
