Personal Statement
I accept beginning students as young as 5 if they demonstrate the necessary skills and readiness for formal piano lessons. I have experience teaching the older beginner as well, and utilize an accelerated program for ages 11 and up.
I integrate music theory with the weekly lessons, and use a variety of learning tools to engage different learning styles. I am a patient teacher and have successfully taught students with various learning disabilities, as well as the gifted student.
I offer performing opportunities twice a year, which are always optional, but encouraged.
