Personal Statement
Katherine Huyghe is a classically trained vocal soprano in the metro Detroit area. She teaches voice lessons to all ages and ability out of her home in Rochester and at the Steinway Piano Gallery in Commerce Township. Katherine also regularly performs solos for church and wedding services.
Katherine believes that vocal technique is the foundation of singing. Without proper technique one cannot sing in a healthy manner and will not achieve their vocal goals. Music should be a joyful experience, but should be learned correctly.
