Personal Statement
I have taught saxophone for 10 years. I have over 20 years playing experience in jazz and classical music. Not only do I teach about technical issues of the saxophone, but I try to include as much music theory into lessons for a true understanding of the student as to what they are playing. I currently play in the Truth In Jazz big band (www.truthinjazz.com) and in the Grandview Saxophone Quartet (www.facebook.com/grandviewsq).
