Personal Statement
I am interested in passing on the knowledge that all of the great artists that I have studied with have bestowed upon me. I have a great respect for the art of music and I believe in both teaching the artistic elements of music along with the craftsmanship. I have extensive academic training (BM Berklee College of Music, and MFA California Institute of the Arts) and I have been exposed to countless styles of teaching. I believe it is important to craft a unique approach for every student, as the study of music is a long and personal journey that requires hard work and trust in yourself, your abilities, and the validity of your chosen path.
