Personal Statement
I have been a professional performer for over 35 years. I served as euphoniumist with the U.S. Coast Guard Band for 22 years and was principal euphonium and the featured euphonium soloist for over ten years. I am also an accomplished trombonist and a knowledgeable tubaist. I specialize in solo literature for these instruments and am also very competent in chamber music literature for these and all brass instruments. If you are interested in a professional career as a performer in low brass, I can provide you with a program which will help you to accomplish your goals. If you are an aspiring educator who seeks to develop the highest level of musicianship on your chosen instrument, I can help you with that.
I currently teach at The University of Houston (euphonium); Blinn College in Brenham, TX; The University of Texas at Tyler (low brass); and at Kilgore (Jr.) College in Kilgore, TX (low brass).
