Personal Statement

I work with students of all levels and ages. First Lesson is free.

Kalin Ivanov’s cello students are in range age from three years old to sixty +. He firmly believes that it is never too early or too late to study cello. Ivanov’s students have won assistantships and full and partial scholarships to Juilliard School, New York University, Manhattan School of Music, Marshall University, Adelphi University, Brooklyn-Queens Conservatory – Professional Division, Conservatory of Music at Brooklyn College, Indiana University, Brooklyn Conservatory of Music, and schools in Europe. Some of Kalin Ivanov’s best students have been selected to perform with professional orchestras such as the New York Pops at Carnegie Hall and won prizes at competitions. Ivanovs students have performed on national and local television, including CNN and VH1 and have also performed at CARNEGIE HALL.
