Each Child Loves The Sound Of A Particular Instrument!
Is your child really interested in learning the violin, and
being able to perform with others in orchestras, quartets, trios, and eventually attending some summer music camps? If so, I can help. I combine the Traditional Method with some of the Bornoff Method (Finger Patterns), and bring some basic theory into the mix. I also help transition your child from Suzuki if he/she has been taught by rote.

While in Miami I helped teach classes in the Bornoff String Method, and was placed in several schools to start or continue Dr. Bornoff’s string programs, while also teaching at Miami-Dade Junior College through the Continuing Ed. Department. When I lived in Palm Beach County I traveled to several schools as a Music Consultant to help their students further their playing abilities in their already established orchestra programs. I also volunteered with an after school string program for an elementary school.
I have performed in quartets and trios, for
churches, Weddings, Receptions and for 9 seasons in the
Dade County Christmas Pageant.
Here in Virginia I have performed in Quartets and Trios for Weddings, Receptions, Background Music, and with the only two orhestras in the Hampton Roads area:
