Shelia is a dynamic accordion performer. Well versed in multiple styles and with a large repertoire.

Shelia has published many volumes of accordion music for the beginner to the intermediate player on piano keyboard, chromatic, and diatonic button accordion. Many of these include Karaoke (backtracks), DVD and CDs. She teaches exclusively ON-LINE (SKYPE) Music theory, musicology, composition, and arranging in addition to performance skills.

Shelia Lee has designed and delivered thousands of Master Accordion Workshops across the US and has made them through her website All levels – the beginner, intermediate, and advanced accordionist will benefit from ALL the Workshops.

She formerly owned and operated Heritage Arts Productions and Houston Accordion Performers in the Pasadena, TX area and Shelia’s Accordion Conservatory in Ohio for 14 years where she had over 300 accordion students that competed at the AAA & ATG receiving highest honors.

Education / Training

Shelia started playing the accordion at age 5 and in her teens was privileged to study with Bill Palmer of Palmer and Hughes Music Course fame. She attended University of Texas on a Music Scholarship and opened her own music studio at age 21.

She has developed her own teaching method materials over the years that include special requests – her students request over 20 songs a month that is added to her library of arrangements she has written. Shelia owns So Good Productions that specialized in accordion arrangement and these books and collections (some with professional backtracks) now available for other teachers and students.

Shelia currently is teaching diatonic, chromatic, and piano keyboard accordion and is conducting workshops all over the US to Accordion Clubs and music schools.
