Previously, Scott served on the music faculties of The University of Notre Dame, Andrews University and several other institutions of higher learning.

“I studied with Scott Kurtzweil throughout my four years of high school . . . My lessons with Scott provided a great foundation for me as a developing musician. The exercises and practice techniques that I learned from him are still a part of my practice routine today. Under his guidance I was able to really understand the repertoire we studied not just technically, but musically as well. Scott helped me set and achieve my performance goals and guided me to the path of becoming a great musician.”
