Personal Statement

The violin has the potential for being one of the most versatile instruments in the musical spectrum, able to blend into virtually any genre. My lessons emphasize this notion, allowing students to pursue the style of violin playing that they identify with most. Whether it’s classical, baroque, rock, folk, or hip-hop, students have the opportunity to read music, improvise, and apply music theory to their playing. Both acoustic and electric instruments are welcome.
