Personal Statement
I believe that each student has unique musical potential to discover their own voice and passion. My goal as a teacher is to bring out this potential by inspiring and challenging my students on a journey of personal discovery.
Music has the power to bring people together, create communities, and share empathy, but within this unity each student also has unique strengths and difficulties that require flexibility in teaching methods. My experience teaching students of many different levels, from young children or adult beginners looking for a hobby to advanced conservatory students pursuing music as a career, allows me to provide this flexibility.
