Personal Statement
Music is a wonderfully beautiful global language that every child and every adult can relate to and understand. From my early years I felt that it inspired happiness and a sense of community (I attended many symphony concerts where my father appeared on stage among other 100 people or so, making music together).
My goal is to offer this experience of connection, to your own soul and to anyone else that you care to share your soul with, by means of playing my favorite instrument – PIANO. Teaching music is at least three generations long tradition in my family!
Establishing comprehensive understanding of musical theory and form, acquiring necessary technical skills and listening habits are all very important to musical growth. I work individually on all of these aspects and combine them with a varied repertoire from all periods and genres of the piano literature.
For those who are just looking to start their musical journey, I offer a free consultation session 20-30 min. long. My method is tailored carefully to each individual (child or adult), based on my evaluation of the first session.
