Personal Statement
My background is mostly in sacred music. I have been teaching for the past 4 years consistently and off and on for 12 years. The method of teaching I like to use is the Alfred series. Music should be an enjoyable experience for the student, therefore I strive to make each lesson a pleasant one! I have ten children of my own,three of whom I currently teach piano.
Education / Training
I studied music at Piedmont Bible College in Winston Salem, N.C. and have played church music for 30+ years. I took piano lessons from private instructors for 5 years and 1 year at a collegiate level. I currently teach at Shining Light Baptist Academy and also I am the church pianist there as well.
