Mountain Top Music Center’s mission is to enrich lives and build community by offering inspiring music education and by offering performance and listening opportunities throughout the area. Mountain Top serves about 190 students of all ages each semester. At more than 12 sites, MTMC offers pre-school music instruction, Orff-Schulwerk classes for elementary school-aged students, a Suzuki strings program, and a private instruction program that includes violin, viola, cello, piano, flute, guitar and voice. Mountain Top’s ensembles include a chamber orchestra, a steel drum band, an African drumming circle, and an a cappella singing group.
