Personal Statement

Jennifer Rossetti has one passion in life: to communicate to others the life-changing beauty of music, and to teach her students to do the same.

Education:

Jennifer graduated from the University of Michigan (rated the #3 Music School in the United States by the Princeton Review, 2010) with her Master’s Degree in Music. While there, she studied with some of the world’s leading music educators. Before that, she graduated with her Bachelor’s Degree in Music Performance from the Wheaton College Conservatory of Music. Prior to that she completed 15 years of private lessons in piano, voice and violin.

Teaching Experience:

Since her studies at Wheaton College Conservatory, Jennifer has taught both piano and voice to kids and adults of all ages. Jennifer’s teaching philosophy focuses on achieving real results for her students, and her students have consistently excelled during their performing opportunities. For example, during the 2010 National Association of Teachers of Singing (NATS) music competition, 9 of her 10 competing students were finalists.

Performing Experience:

Jennifer is not only a teacher but she is also an active performer putting her in a unique position to coach and mentor her students. She has performed with numerous musical groups and opera companies throughout the world including dell’Arte Opera Ensemble, Janiec Opera Company, Franz Schubert Institut, Florence Voice Seminar, Bach Cantata Vespers.

Education / Training

I have a Master’s Degree in Voice Performance and Music from the University of Michigan School of Music. My Bachelor’s Degree is also in music from the Wheaton College Conservatory of Music. I’ve studied overseas both in Florence, Italy and Vienna, Austria.
