Personal Statement
I offer violin lessons for all levels, ages four and up. I strive to create a nurturing, fun, yet challenging environment, and specifically tailor my teaching method to meet you or your child’s goals and needs using a combination of traditional and Suzuki methods.
I am currently accepting students at my Boerum Hill studio in Brooklyn, and for house calls in Brooklyn, Queens, and Manhattan. A travel surcharge may apply.

Education / Training
After a number of years of performing and teaching in the Bay Area, I moved to New York City in 2010. Since then, I have performed on Broadway with Green Day’s American Idiot and won the 2010 violin chair at the Radio City Music Hall Christmas Spectacular. I have performed with such notable rock/pop acts as Green Day, Deep Purple, Diana Krall, Josh Groban, Tommy Lee, Smokey Robinson, and members of REM. I recorded the soundtrack to the 2011 Shakespeare in the Park production “All’s Well That Ends Well,” and I perform with numerous classical orchestras and ensembles throughout the area.
Highlights from my ten years spent performing in California include appearing at the 2011 Grammy Awards with Green Day and recording the 2011 Grammy winning album Green Day’s American Idiot Original Cast Recording. I performed with orchestras including the New Century Chamber Orchestra, the San Francisco Ballet Orchestra, Symphony Silicon Valley, and the Skywalker Symphony (with whom I recorded various movie and video game soundtracks). I served as Concertmaster with the Santa Rosa Symphony, Napa Valley Symphony, and Fresno Philharmonic, and Principal Second with the Stockton Symphony. I taught at the Crowden School for Music in the Community in Berkeley and at the Marin Music Academy while maintaining a private studio of students ranging in age from 4 to 30.
