Personal Statement
I teach to the students personal interests and help set goals to practice toward. I’ll address areas of their playing that need improvement. I like to work on a variety of material such as reading, playing different styles, soloing, technique, tuning, improvising, and developing sound and feel to name a few.
I focus on the nuts and bolts of playing one’s instrument and music in general. By establishing a solid foundation of knowledge, technique, and methodical practicing, the student will be prepared to process and execute challenging material.
I’m a serious teacher, but I think lessons to be fun too!
I’m an adjuct Faculty member at Williams College and Bennington College (drum instructor).
NOTE: I only teach beginning guitar students
