Personal Statement

I have obtained my Bachelor of Music Degree at Grand Valley State University and my Master of Music Degree at University of Michigan, Ann Arbor where I studied with the Grammy Award winning saxophonist, Timothy McAllister. In addition, to my work as a solo classical saxophonist, I also have performed in a variety of chamber ensembles and wind ensembles. My significant experience in competitions as a soloist and chamber musician make me an ideal teacher for those looking to compete or perform in solo and ensemble.
