Singers! Are you looking for a teacher who can help you get the most out of your voice?
Whether you want to build self confidence or nail that audition, just sing for fun or hope to make a career of it, I am willing to help you achieve your goals!
I’ve been teaching privately and in Boulder county music schools since 1997. My education and technique come from the classical and opera tradition, but I’ve also taught Broadway, folk, pop, jazz and bluegrass singers, accompanied, and conducted choirs. I’ve helped students succeed in preparing for college entrances, high school musical auditions, community theater productions, singing solos in their church, and so much more!
I offer lessons at my home studio for students of all ages and abilities. Prices start at $30 for 30 minutes, $40 for 45 minutes, and $50 for sixty minutes. Group lessons, flexible scheduling, and every-other-week available. Every student gets individual treatment, depending on their goals. Among the topics that might be helpful for you are:
* Audition preparation
* Stage presence
* Performance anxiety
* Choosing the best repertoire for your voice
Technique (breathing, range, strength)
* How to achieve different styles of singing
* Diction and language coaching (or, how to sing in English, Italian, German, French, Latin, Spanish, Russian and Latvian)
Sight singing and/or reading music
Accompanying yourself or others
Beginning piano
In addition, I offer regular vocal workshops where singers get to practice performing in front of other supportive students — great for building your confidence or working through your repertoire!
