Personal Statement
Piano lessons should be enjoyable, both for children and adults. When I was a young student, I read in one of my method books that “interest is the greatest educator”. It was true then and it is true now. I offer traditional lessons that teach note reading, interpretation and theory, but I customize the repertoire to that which the student most enjoys. At a recent recital, one of my former students who had 8 years of lessons, told me that piano lessons were one of the high points of his week. That is what I hope to accomplish along with giving a thorough music education.
