Personal Statement
I offer lessons, both in person and online, in violin, viola, cello, bass, and music theory. I also provide quality musicians for weddings and other special events! For lesson and booking information, please feel free to contact me.
Variety is definitely what I bring to the table. I enjoy playing different genres and venues. I love playing with a symphony, but I also enjoy the craziness of playing in a theater pit orchestra! I also play lots of weddings, holiday parties, and other events. Since I am involved in so many different venues, my students have exposure and opportunities to do the same.
I incorporate music theory into my lessons, b/c I believe it is necessary for becoming a strong musician. I do offer lessons via the internet for students who may be too far away or might not have child care to come to lessons. All you need is a cam and mic for video chat, printer and scanner, and an email you check frequently. Though the idea of virtual lessons might seem strange, they are surprisingly easy and much like in person lessons. It’s a great idea for students who can’t get away or don’t have good teachers in their area. There is also a discount for virtual lessons!
Music is my passion, and I love teaching, b/c I get to share that with my students.
Education / Training
My name is Nicole Veneroso. I’m a violinist, and music is my life. I’ve been teaching lessons and playing gigs for about 15 years now. I have a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Music Industry and extensive teaching and performing experience.
I played as the Principal Second of the Florence Symphony Orchestra, 1st Violin for the Florence Little Theater, 1st Violin for the Lake City Theater, Principal Second of the SC Dance Theater, Concertmaster of the FMU String Ensemble, and Solo Violin and Keys in the FMU pop/rock band.
Currently I am the Concertmaster of the Audubon Symphony Orchestra and a 1st Violin in the Newark Symphony Orchestra. I also play with the Chamber Ensemble, Serenata.
I have also been playing weddings, dinners, holiday parties, etc. for over 10 years.
I teach private lessons, both in person and via the internet, using skype. I also offer ensemble opportunities for those interested.
