Personal Statement
I teach the Suzuki Method to children as young as 4. I approach teaching the violin with patience and fun. I want every child I teach to come away not only being a fine violin player, but being a person of strength, confidence, focus, diligence, and love.
Education / Training
I have been playing the violin since age 5. I grew up playing the Suzuki Method. I went to a small liberal arts college outside of Philadelphia, PA and received a Bachelor of Arts in music. I studied with several current and former members of the Philadelphia Orchestra. I have vast orchestral and chamber experience as well. I took an introductory teacher training course in the Suzuki method, as well as doing my own research and observations of teachers, but I’ve learned the most from my 12 years+ teaching experience.
