Personal Statement
I have dedicated my teaching career to bringing out the best of the students natural abilities and building technique in area of weakness. I have thorough training in various styles of music . I possess a Masters Degree in Classical Guitar Performance from the State University of New York at Stony Brook as well as a second Masters Degree in Music Theory/Composition from the same University.
All students are different and enjoy working with each one to develop an approach that optimizes their success. I have taught for twenty years as Professor of Music for four different institutions. I enjoy cultivating the love of music in students of all ages and walks of life and have an impeccable record of teaching and performing. I am a published composer and arranger and continue to be an active musician. I would enjoy sharing my knowledge and expertise with any and all motivated students.
